“Experiencing the whole of school life”

Performing Arts and Music

Primary

The Performing Arts program in the Primary School continues to grow in both enthusiasm and opportunity. Students enjoy singing together in the Primary Choir, performing at College celebrations throughout the year such as Harmony Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas events. Music and Drama lessons provide lively, creative experiences where students explore the elements of drama, develop confidence on stage and share performances with younger peers.

Students also learn foundational music skills, including playing classroom instruments such as recorders, with many working toward their Recorder Licence. The Primary campus now features a dedicated Music Room and the College is steadily expanding access to instruments so that every child can participate meaningfully in practical music-making. Plans are also underway to broaden opportunities through programs such as rock band tuition for interested students.

Secondary

The Secondary School continues to build a vibrant and diverse Performing Arts culture. The Secondary Choir is growing steadily, giving students the chance to perform at College celebrations and strengthen their vocal and ensemble skills. Classroom Music offers hands-on learning where students develop musicianship through keyboard, guitar and ensemble performance. As they progress, students explore areas such as film music, composition, conducting and collaborative performance.

With an expanding Music cohort and a dedicated creative arts space, the College is committed to growing its Secondary program each year, fostering confident performers, composers and ensemble musicians who contribute to a rich and engaging artistic culture.

Soldier of Christ Program

Each year, twelve students are selected through a strengthened application and interview process, symbolising the twelve disciples of Christ. The Soldier of Christ Programme calls our young people to live their faith through genuine service. Students take part in meaningful outreach including feeding the homeless, running Christmas appeals, visiting nursing homes, and supporting parish initiatives. The programme forms students who lead with humility, compassion, and a heart for others, reflecting Christ in all they do.
