Enrolment Overview

Discover how St Bishoy Coptic Orthodox College partners with families to provide a Christ-centred education from Prep to Year 12 — nurturing faith, learning and character in a caring and inclusive community.

A welcoming faith-based community

St Bishoy Coptic Orthodox College welcomes students from families of every background and faith tradition.
While our teaching and daily life are firmly rooted in the Coptic Orthodox Christian faith, we invite families who respect and value this foundation to join our community.

Our desire is to partner with parents in nurturing each child’s spiritual, academic and personal growth, so it is important that families understand and support the College’s Christian worldview.

Book a personal tour

The best way to experience life at St Bishoy College is to see it in action.

Join our Head of College, Mr Michael Atteya, for a guided tour of our campus and an opportunity to ask questions about learning, wellbeing and community life.

Tours are available on weekdays during school terms at times convenient to your family.

To book, please Enquire Now  or contact the College Office on (02) 9675 7411 or office@stbishoy.nsw.edu.au

Open Mornings

We also host Open Mornings once each term, typically on a Saturday, where families can tour the campus, meet teachers and experience the warmth of our community.

Kindergarten Enrolments

Children commencing Kindergarten must be 4 years 9 months or older by 30 April of their starting year.

We recommend beginning the enrolment process 12–18 months in advance to ensure availability.

To avoid disappointment, submit a Kindergarten Waitlist Application early.

Priority is given to siblings of current students and children attending our onsite Angelos Child Care Centre.

Offers for Kindergarten placements are issued early in the year prior to commencement.

Accepted students participate in our Transition to School Program, which includes a mid-year readiness interview—an enjoyable chance for children and parents to meet our Kindergarten team and feel at home in the school environment.

Year 7 Enrolments

As a Prep–Year 12 College, most Year 6 students progress directly into Year 7.

This means there are only a limited number of additional places each year.

Families considering St Bishoy for secondary schooling are encouraged to apply early, ideally during the primary years, to secure a place where possible.

Preparing for Your Tour or Interview

You don’t need to bring anything specific for a tour, although we warmly encourage children to attend with their parents.

If your child has any medical or learning needs, please bring relevant documentation so we can discuss appropriate support.

When submitting a formal enrolment application, please include:

• Birth certificate
• The two most recent school reports (if applicable)
• NAPLAN results (if applicable)
• Relevant medical or specialist reports
• Visa or citizenship documentation (if applicable)

Our interviews are friendly, conversational and designed simply to get to know your child and family—no academic testing required.
